Hello, dear ones,
Even though I’ve been a bit quiet lately, you’ve been on my mind, and I’m grateful to reconnect.
If you’re anything like me, you’ve likely experienced relationships that leave an indelible mark on your heart, even if you no longer see the person.
These connections create an echo, resonating with us long after they’re gone from our lives. This is true even if thoughts of the person are infrequent. Just recalling the laughter, the inside jokes that still bring a smile, and the lessons we learned together can stir powerful memories.
Research in psychology and neuroscience suggests that strong emotional connections create lasting neural pathways in our brains, meaning the love we shared continues to influence our thoughts and feelings. The echoes of love remind us that some people may no longer be physically present; however, their spirit and impact remain woven into the very fabric of our lives.
As we approach this holiday season, I’m thinking of you and wishing you a restful and joyful break from the daily grind. May you find time to bask in good memories of forgotten friends, while savouring the beauty around you.
Much Joy,
Tamika
PS – Let’s make new memories tomorrow evening at our free Solstice Event.
Tamika thank you for sharing this beautiful idea. I love where I now live in nature and have more nature connections, and fewer connections with people. This was such a lovely reminder of how we hold people within us even though we do not see them anymore. I’ll come back to this treasure on days I’m feeling lonesome. Hugs from afar S
Hi Sheila, Great to hear from you and I’m wishing you a restorative season! Tamika
